Portal in the ‘Movie Room’

In a room, in the lowest part of this house, there is a portal. It seems to be a portal to a two dimensional realm of wonders. I have seen it with my very keen cat eyes.

Normally this room is dark with only a light projecting from the back of the room. But on the opposite wall, there is a portal on display where birds the size of humans are seen flying, and, may I gasp, giant cats. The portal shows all manner of curiosity, which I surely will address at a later date, but there is a orange and white cat whose size leave even me in awe.

Yes, I am jealous. I will admit it. For every time I see him, he has a can of wet cat foot proportionate to his size. The gelatinous liquid gleaning off the purred meat so real I could almost smell the decaying purification.

It was and is a mesmerizing sight.

Once I tried to clasp it. My lightning quick reflexes were still not great enough for, by the time I escaped from the clutches of my humans and reached to portal, the image was changed. Saddened, but ever the explorer, I tentatively reached out a paw to touch the moving image. It was solid wall behind a material I have not felt before. A bird caught my eye and I leaped to pounce at our mortal enemy. My claw extending like a rapier sword ready to eviscerate the foul being.

But, alas, my claw did not pierce the avian creature. The bird fluttered to another part of the portal. However, I did cause a tear in the very fabric of the portal. The humans, in attention, yelled, edging me on I believe. It’s hard to discern their emotions. Either way, I retracted my claw and fell to the floor. I looked at the claw which had pierced the two dimensional realm, touched it to my technology. Nope. It tasted neither of bird not wet food.

The portal secret shall be mine, some day. Some day, my brethren. This I promise.
